Yes it is! During standard grade physics (GCSE) my teacher got the class to work out how much energy you would need to power a lightsaber and the death star. That is where the problems start you need alot of power!
That’s no problem for the death star which is the size of the moon but its a bit more challenging to put a power station in the handle of a lightsaber. But we can make one using the fourth state of matter, plasma, and a magnetic field which would keep it contained in the blade shape. Just at the moment it has to be plugged in.
Lightspeed is theoretically possible we just need to figure out how to bend space. As for blasters the military have been working on them using powerful lasers which can burn through most things.
Unfortunately we haven’t made any progress with using the force.

I love star wars we ll crack the force soon !

“How do I make real life more like Star Wars” is something 100% of all scientists have thought at some point. We’ll get there!

I hope so!

Shouldn’t the First Order have employed a few more scientists to make sure that their Starkiller base wasn’t so easy to blow up…?

Experimental bases are always a little unstable
