      Interesting question!

I think that it would probably just scar it. The earth’s crust is very, very thick (about 30km or so) and so breaking through that would require a phenomenal amount of energy. And we know the ground must be pretty good at taking nukes, because that is why there are safety bunkers underground that are meant to be able to survive a nuclear attack.

If you bury them deep underground though, that might do more damage because all of the blast will go into the earths crust, whereas if you just drop nukes, a lot of the explosion force just goes up into the air. So if you wanted to shatter the world with nukes, I think that would be your best bet. But please don’t!

I think it would just scar it, although nukes are the most powerful weapon we’ve ever built it isn’t as powerful as the Earth itself. There are earthquakes that would be more powerful than all of our nuclear weapons combined.

We can achieve alot of things but we are still easily defeated by mother nature.
