I think it would be possible for someone to live on Mars, but they would need a supply of oxygen and food to survive. It would be tricky to be able to send people with enough supplies to be able to live there for a long time.

There are some people who think it would be possible to slowly change mars to become more like earth over time, so that it would support life. The fancy term is terraforming, and there is a wikipedia page about it here:

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terraforming_of_Mars

It’s quite a cool concept, but it would be very, very, very expensive.

There may be other planets out there, in other solar systems, that are similar enough to earth that we might survive there. But getting there becomes a problem because they are very far away.

Yes I do, as Elliot has mentioned we might be able to change the environment of a planet like Mars so it is possible to live on it. I think we will have humans living on Mars but its more likely they’ll be inside a base of some kind and will need suits to go outside.

Personally I think we’ll figure out a better way to travel across space before we figure out terraforming so we can travel to the far away planets which are similar to Earth so we can just live there. The universe is a big place so its likely they’ll be other planets like Earth and we are looking for them right now. Question is would there be other life already there when we arrive?
