Being anaemic usually means you’ve not got enough iron in your body to make new red blood cells and because red blood cells are always being recycled the number in your body starts to go down. There are other forms of anaemia but I’m gonna assume you’ve got the iron deficiency one.

Being anaemic is bad in a way because you might suffer symptoms such as being tired, finding it harder to breath or looking a bit pale but the good news is it is easy to fix, you just need to eat more foods containing iron or take some iron tablets.

This might fix the problem forever if you’ve found out what caused you to be anaemic in the first place and fixed that too. So being anaemic isn’t really bad as long as you spot the symptoms and do something about it, if you don’t get more iron then things might get worse and lead to more serious problems.
