• Question: if the world got hit by 1000 1 meter x 1 meter meteors, would anything noticeable happen? except all the big meteors being everywhere...

      Cool question!

So the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs was thought to be 10km across. If we assume this was a sphere, this would have a volume a trillion times bigger than a meteor that was one meter across. So based on that, I don’t think that meteors that big would do a lot of damage compared to the massive meteors, though I certainly wouldn’t want to be hit by one! They would probably still make craters and damage wherever they land because they will be going quite fast.

That size of meteor would probably burn up in the atmosphere before it reached the ground. At worst they would create a shockwave called an air burst which is essentially like a tsunami of air. A small air burst would probably go unnoticed but if you had 1000 small air bursts happening at the same time they could all add together and cause some damage.
