Plasma is what you are left with if you take the electrons off of an atom but leave them in the plasma so they can float about as they please.

You can make this happen by heating something up alot. Heating gives the electrons more energy and eventually the protons can’t hold on to them anymore and they fly off.

There is an experiment which involves a grape in a microwave but I wouldn’t recommend it because it might break your microwave and then we’ll all get in trouble.

The other way to make plasma is to use an electric potential which is basically having something that is positively charged at one end and negatively charged at the other end so the protons are pulled one way and the electrons are pulled the other way until they are ripped apart.
